THE MINNEAPOLIS INSTITUTE OF ARTS
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA
OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR
November 9, 1927.
Dear Mrs. Force:
I have been interested in the Studio Club plan for
exhibtions and am glad to have your letter of November 1 in
which you suggest that it come here for the month of December.
It happens that this will fit in with our schedule of exhibi-
tions and I should like to open it on Saturday, December 3.
Could you, therefore, ship it so that it would arrive here by
November 28 thus giving us time to arrange the galleries and
to prepare the catalogue?
We had an exhibition of the Studio Club's work two
years ago which was only moderately successful. This list looks
much more interesting however.
I appreciate the Club's paying transporatation and in-
surance charges as our limited exhibition budget does not permit
us to invite many of the exhibitions that we would like to have
but can not afford.
As local publicity, especially photographs, has to be
lined up two weeks in advance, it will be necessary to have photo-
graphs and whatever notes you might have by November 17 if they
are to appear at the same time as the opening of the show.
