Back caption: The rarest flamingoes / Bronx Zoo, New York City / A small part of the great Flamingo collection in the Aquatic Birds House in the Bronx Zoo--the first Zoo in the world to exhibit all six kinds of Flamingo. These are James's and Andean Flamingos from the high Andes of South America--here exhibited for the first time--and the Lesser Flamingo of Africa, Madagascar and India. The small birds are Spoonbills and Stilts.
