I went to see Mr/Mrs Walsh the other day. they were extremely sympathetic & we had a nice talk. they
are going to reproduce 2 of my paintings in the next issue of Asia Magazine. I thought that was very nice.
I asked Mr Walsh if he could help me to get something to do in Cal Donovan’s propaganda dept. He said he knew him & would talk to him about me.
In the mean time Mrs. Forbes is the coordinator of information which is Cal Donovans N.Y. dept. called me. They are going to assign something suitable for me to do as soon as they can, perhaps posters or illustrations. Right now I am going to write a script for short wave radio broadcast to Japan. Thanks to the effort of Mrs Walsh & that of Mr Bruce of Washington. I am very happy that I am to do something for the government.
