Miss Juliana R. Force,
The Whitney Studio,
8 West Eight Street,
New York City, N.Y.
My dear Mrs. Force:
The Whitney Studio Club exhibition has been shipped today to New Orleans.
The exhibition aroused a great deal of interest and the Kunijoshi painting was sold in Denver. According to your instructions this painting is being forwared with the others to New Orleans. Does the exhibiton return to New York from New Orleans or are there other stops enroute? As soon as the exhibiton is disbanded will you kindly return this painting to the Denver Art Museum, and we will forward a check. I assume that the customary discount of ten percent to the Museum is allowed in this case.
Sincerely yours,
Edgar C. McMechen
Secretary
