Feb. 25th 1928
My dear Mrs Force,
The club is in receipt of a letter from the John C fox Co. 50 Broad St. New York saying that the pictures will be shipped express from Denver immediately upon the close of the show there, Feb. 24.
The show will open here ?Sunday afternoon, March 5th. with a tea and reception. Announcements [sic] are in the mail. The club sends out 500 to its mailing list. The catalogue is in the printer's hands. The press has taken three of the photos for publicity and Miss Morel is running advance notices this Sunday in three papers.
I have succeeded in interesting some of the wealthy people here in the show, among them being Miss Sarah Henderson, a friend of John Sloan's and Anne Goldthwaite's. and Mrs Harry Howard, whose husband is one of the leading banker's. Will give a short talk on March 8th. at one of the clubs here. I have hope of The Museum here acquiring [something]. The Delgado has no money for maintenance or acquisitions, and gets additions through the gifts of people here interested. There is much interest here in the advent of the show and it will as well taken care of and received as it is possible in New Orleans. Hoping this finds you well and with best wishes, I am sincerely
