Mrs. Juliana R. Force,
Whitney Studio Club,
8 West 8th Street,
New York, N. Y.
Dearest Mrs. Force:
I telegraphed you about Mr. Fleish-hacker's two paintings that he bought - the Nan Watson and the Schnakenberg - because the good man is so crazy to have them back. He wants to see his pictures and he asked me for them continually. He loves them. I know that you will all appreciate the fact that he is so desirous of having them just because he loves the pictures. I received your answer this morning saying that they will leave New York on May 19th. Will you please ship them to the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, Lincoln Park, San Francisco, California in my care and I shall see that Mr. Fleishhacker receives them.
I do hope that you and Mrs. Whitney are well and happy and that we shall all meet soon.
Here's to you.
Devotedly your friend,
Cornelia B. Sage-Quinton
Director
P. S. Billie joins me in love.
