New York City.
Dear Mrs. Force:
I have not been able to get in touch with Flannagan to discuss with him what action to take regarding your purchase of The Monkey. I do not wish to stand in the way of his getting any money out of the show and am perfectly willing to withdraw any right in the Monkey in favor of some other piece of sculpture just as I did last year when I gave up the other monkey which you purchased. I am perfectly willing to do whatever you think best in the matter and will abide by any decision you come to after consulting Mr. Flannagan.
Yours very truly,
