Description--Front	Caption on original reads "PENNSYLVANIA R.R. TUNNEL, UNDER THE HUDSON RIVER, NEW YORK CITY. The Pennsylvania Tunnel runs under the Hudson River from the New Pennsylvania Station at Seventh Avenue and 32nd Street to New Jersey. They are 60 feet below the surface. All trains coming into the R.R. Station through the tunnels are drawn by Electric Motors the change being made at the Manhattan Transfer, just East of Newark, N.J." The image on the postcard is bisected horizontally. The image on the bottom half of the card depicts a crossection view of the Pennsylvania R.R. Tunnel showing two railroad trains within two tunnels. The image on the top half of the card depicts the waterway on top of the railroad tunnels and shows various vessels crossing the waterway. There also appears to be a small part of the cityscape visible on the right hand side of the waterway image.
