Description--Front	The old D. & H. Canal looking west beyond a road crossing where a women and a younger girl sit along the railings and to the right a man stands in the back of an early 20th century convertible automobile. The road crossing connects travelers from one side of the canal, which is surrounded by a habitable area, to the other side where Enton's store resides to the left of the road crossing. The road crossing was built because this is an old section of the D & H Canal that was no longer used in the early 20th century and that is why it is referred to as the "Old D & H Canal"; it was replaced by another canal.
