Description--Front	Barge, being pulled by a tugboat barely visible in front, passing under the shadow of a railroad truss bridge. There is a woman in kerchief and long skirt at the tiller, viewed from the stern. The top right of the stern board is visible with the second half of the barge's name; it appears to be "Murray." There are men visible on the railroad bridge and there appears to be a railroad passenger car on the bridge at the extreme right of the frame. Quite a bit of detail is visible of the barge's aft cabin and surrounding deck. The cargo is not fully visible, but appears to be two metal vessels, tanks, or machines with a hatch visible on one, and smokestacks or what resembles a submarine conning tower on the other.
