Description--Front	According to the front printed caption on the bottom of the card, the main focus on the front image are the ruins of the historical U.S. Storehouse, [presumably] used in the War of 1812, which stands atop a grassy cliff, near the Champlain Canal winding it's way down the center of what seems to be a small industrial town, with two boats, presumably a canal boat and a barge or steam boat, anchored at different points on the canal. There are industrial type buildings, presumably warehouses or factories, near the canal with smaller buildings and utility poles scattered on the tree-covered, grassy land on both sides of the canal. The scene is set against the backdrop of far-away hills and a celestial body, sun or moon, in the top left corner of the sky; Written message in blank space at bottom of card [handwritten] (Dear Mother: All well, will write soon, yours Anna.); Printing information: series number (No. 1); ( [indiscernible] G, 8 NOV; CO.
