Description--Front	Front caption reads" "View of the Broken Culvert under the Erie Canal. Six miles of water, nine feet in depth and sixty feet in width passed through the aperture within two hours at Syracuse, N. Y. July 30, '07" [top right of card]. Photo of horse drawn carriages leaving the culvert by way of wooden ramp. Debris lays scattered around the culvert while people appear to be working. Pedestrians stop along the side of the culvert and look into the broken facilities. Buildings cover the landscape on either side of culvert. On the right, a portion of a large sign advertises agricultural goods on the top of a building. Blank space around edge of cards.
